Did you get your Merchant Center suspended?

Here are 7 solutions that can help you fix the suspension:

Solution 1: Contact information

Google wants the best experience for the visitors it sends to your website, so it's important that they can reach you with multiple contact options to achieve this.

Your full address, customer email support, and optional phone number must be in the footer and on the contact page.

I also highly recommend adding these details to every legal page.

Solution 2: Shipping information

To provide visitors with the right information, making a shipping information page is essential.

You need to make sure that you explain the:

“Transit time” + “Shipping time” will be.

It's even better to mention the cutoff time from the fulfillment center and the average delivery days.

To make it easy for you, here is the template we use to mention this the right way, so the algorithm can understand it directly:

Cutoff time 22:00 (GMT+01:00) Central European Standard Time (Amsterdam) Order processing time 1-3 days, delivery on Mon-Fri Delivery time 4-8 days, shipping on Mon-Fri

Solution 3: Return the information

Don’t leave any important topics behind, and it’s bad for business and trust.

To keep things clear, have separate policies for refund & return.

Also, refunds should be based on delivery day rather than purchase day.

Then, link to the footer of all pages.

Solution 4: Payment information

Can your customers easily find your payment policy?

If not, that’s a red flag for GMC.

You need to:

Solution 5: Reduce / Remove Claims

Claims for items like supplements or medical devices must meet regulations.

If they don’t, it can be “misrepresenting” the truth, and in the eye of Google, this can be dishonest.

So, Never claim a cure or make nonproven statements with certifications.

PRO TIP: Avoid and Reduce claims to reduce the risk of suspension.

Solution 6: Image file name

Google prefers websites with unique content; therefore, they check the image file names used on your website.

So, don't copy and paste images from other websites or stock images without giving the file name your own touch.

Bonus: If you want to go the extra mile, fill in the ALT text in your media library.

In this case, you can write down briefly what the picture is about, which will help the algorithm understand your website more easily.
